What do I need for Audara?
A Synology or QNAP NAS and the Audara app. You can also connect Jellyfin, Plex, Subsonic, WebDAV and UPnP/DLNA — on iOS and Android.
Is it really private?
Yes. Audara streams directly from your server to your device. There is no Audara cloud, no tracking and no ads. Your credentials stay in the Apple Keychain or Android Keystore.
Which audio formats are supported?
Whatever your server delivers – from MP3 and AAC to lossless FLAC, ALAC, WAV and AIFF. Audara streams the original file straight from the server and never re-encodes it.
Which devices are supported?
iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, CarPlay and Widgets on the Apple side, plus Android phones, tablets and Android Auto.
Do I need a subscription?
No. Audara is free, and your music is already yours. Audara Pro is an optional upgrade with offline downloads, the on-device AI DJ plus AI recommendations, and the ID3 tag editor with cover search.
